THE POWER OF CONNECTION, CULTURE AND COMMUNITY

Fort Peck Community College is open to ALL who want to learn more and create a better future. Our graduates have gone on to have successful careers in private industry, Tribal, State, and federal politics, education, healthcare, and many other fields — working in our community and across the world.

ONLINE & HYBRID LEARNING

We continue to expand our connections to students beyond campus. You can take classes online, on campus, or both with our hybrid model. We have daytime and evening classes with flexible schedules created for full-time and part-time students, including those who are working other jobs. We also offer dual credit for high school students to earn college credits even before you graduate.

In response to COVID-19, we have expanded our online course offerings to allow students to learn safely from home when possible. We also have several safety precautions in place on campus to protect our students, staff, and visitors. The health of our community is a top priority and we are committed to providing a safe college experience for all.

FACULTY

Our faculty provides a high standard of educational and vocational training that prepares our students for in-demand careers. Courses are taught by full-time and adjunct faculty members with PhDs, Masters, and Bachelor Degrees as well as vocational instructors with industry certifications. Our faculty has received special training to provide remote instruction for our certified online associate degree programs.

TRANSFERRING CREDITS

Transferring between colleges in the Montana University System is easy. Our Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees are designed for students who want to transfer to a four-year degree program. Transfer students who complete their degree meet all math and writing proficiency requirements needed for admission and are not required to take additional general education classes at the 100- or 200-level when they transfer.

STUDENT SUPPORT

Our student organizations connect you with community and cultural activities while supporting the mission and educational programs of the College. We encourage you to get involved and connect with people who share your interests. We advocate for all students and strive to create a community atmosphere that supports your academic, emotional, and spiritual growth. Through our student services, we give you the help you need to balance your school life, work life, and home life. Your academic success is important to us and we work hard to help you achieve your goals and succeed. We provide free tutoring, financial aid, grant and scholarship assistance, career and college transfer assistance, and more. And, our Wa Wo Giya retention program is also available to help students struggling to stay in college.

Whether you learn on campus, online, or take advantage of both, Fort Peck Community College is ready to provide you the power of connection, culture, and community to shape your future.
